1.Kashi Vishwanath temple:

Kashi Vishwanath temple is one of the most famous places to visit in Kashi. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas (sacred abodes of Shiva) in India. Baba Vishwanath Temple is also known as the Golden Temple of Varanasi. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva, who is worshipped as Vishwanath or the "Lord of the Universe." The original temple was believed to have been built in ancient times, but it has undergone various reconstructions because of many destructions by foreign invaders. The present structure was built around the 18th century when it was rebuilt by the Maratha ruler, Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore. The temple follows the Nagara style of architecture. The Kashi Vishwanath Temple is situated on the western bank of the holy river Ganges in the heart of Varanasi. 2.Kaal Bhairava temple:

Kaal Bhairav temple is one of the most famous places to visit in Varanasi. Kaal Bhairava is also known as “Kashi ke Kotwal” who protects this city. Kaal Bhairava is a fierce form of Lord Shiva. It is believed that before entering in this city one should take permission from Lord Kaal Bhairava. 3.Tulsi Manas Temple:

This temple is built in the modern Nagara style of architecture, Tulsi Manas Temple is dedicated to Lord Rama. The temple is famous for its walls where all the Chaupais’s and Doha’s of Ramcharit Manas are mentioned.

4.Dashashwamedh Ghat:

Dashashwamedha Ghat is one of the most famous places to visit in Varanasi, it is located on the banks of the River Ganga, Dashashwamedh Ghat is one of the most significant ghats in Varanasi. It is known for its world-famous Ganga Aarti (a religious ritual) that takes place every evening, attracting a large number of devotees and tourists from all over world.

7.Manikarnika Ghat:

Manikarnika Ghat is one of the most famous places to visit in Varanasi. According to Gupta Inscription, it is one of the oldest ghats of Banaras. This is the holiest cremation ground in Varanasi. It is considered that a Person’s soul gets Moksha (breaks the cycle of rebirth) if that person is cremated on this ground.

9.Ramnagar Fort:

Situated on the eastern bank of the Ganges, Ramnagar Fort is a magnificent sandstone fortification. It serves as the residence of the royal family of Varanasi and houses a museum that exhibits vintage cars, royal artifacts, and manuscripts.
