2. Shri Batuk Bhairav: The Child Form of Lord Bhairav

Shri Batuk Bhairav represents the childlike, gentle form of Lord Bhairav. The name "Batuk" refers to a Brahmin’s son, and this form is worshipped as a symbol of purity and devotion. According to the Shiv Mahapuran, Batuk Bhairav was a devoted son of a Brahmin blessed by Lord Shiva. Worshipping this form brings happiness, prosperity, and immediate blessings when paired with the chanting of Bhairav Mantras.

3. Ashta Bhairav Yatra: The Eight Manifestations

5. Shri Kapal Bhairav

  • Attributes: Focus and fulfilment of goals

6. Shri Samhar Bhairav

  • Attributes: Grants wealth and destroys sins

  • Timings: 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM


7. Shri Unmatt Bhairav

  • Attributes: Controls harmful influences

  • Temple Location: Deora Village, 10 km from Varanasi

8. Shri Bheeshan Bhairav

  • Attributes: Defeats evil spirits, grants power

  • Temple Location: K-63/28, near Jyeshteshwar, Varanasi
